In 2024, amidst surgeries, illness, travel, a pizza shop opening, and an unrelenting tattoo schedule, Chad Koeplinger set himself a challenge: draw one sheet of flash every single day. Against all odds, he never missed a day.
The result is Persistent Now — 379 original works created in a single year, each one charged with immediacy, discipline, and raw creative force.
Some sheets are automatic black linework, others bursts of color and influence, but all of them carry the spirit of tattooing: make something, make it your own, keep moving forward.
This exhibition brings all 379 pieces together.
Some simple, some complex — all alive with tattoo energy.
